Bucketlist

It's not one hundred percent a bucket list more things I would like to make happen this year or in time.

I was at a 21st birthday party, a couple of weeks ago and a lady complimented me on my shoes. I replied saying I was a bit worried to wear them due to my height she then said 'oh no life's to short lovely, too short'. I didn't know this lady but that little compliment made my day. It made me think how there are so many little things that could be worried over but most of them are petty or just completely out of our control, things that are way into the future, just enjoy life now. I'm not an extremely confident person but the little compliment uplifted me.I even went on the dance floor, which before the little top up of make up in the toilet, where I met the women, I was too shy to dance and stayed put.

So here is a few things I would like to aim for/do, this year or in the future.

-Pass my driving test preferably before my 18th birthday
-Enjoy travelling with my sister this year on our trip to Paris and Barcelona, and on holidays in the future.
-Hopefully get into an Art Foundation course this year and go further in my education.
-Have an amazing time at GLASTONBURY
-Enjoy the Alexander Mcqueen exhibition
-Start jogging as soon as the sun comes out in training for the Colour Run
-read read read
-complete Ugly Betty, Friends, SITC series
-paint paint paint, paint till you're exploding paint.
-be healthy

Small Tips for the Future

I'm at that stage where 'the future' is worrying me beyond belief and I'm sure many A Level students are feeling the same at this stage. I however have one A Level I am passionate about Art and I take Psychology. Psychology will be a struggle for me to pass as I didn't work hard enough last year oops.
My plan is to do a Art Foundation after college, in Manchester and perhaps take a gap year after that, maybe. However, what can an Art degree lead too? Will I be at a dead end once I've completed it?

SO if you're in the same situation I thought of some tips:

1. Don't Panic~ You can do whatever you like and help is always at hand
2. Make a timetable for revision to make sure you get an equal amount done instead of prioritizing your favourite.
3. Write done some aspiration along the way just to keep you motivated;)
~ If your taking a gap year  or just want to relax after all you're hard work what do you want to do? where do you want to go?
~If your eager for the work world what sort of job you excited to try out?
4. Research possible courses as much as possible to make sure you have a substantial knowledge of the direction you want to go in.
5. Try to enjoy yourself.
6. Get enough sleeepp. Sleep is so important to remain calm so make the most of it.

endless list of oppotunities

I thought i'd make a list to share with you all what I would like to do this year~

  • achieve grades that will at least allow me to do A levels. This will be harder than expected and kind of feeling the pressure already( I so should of chosen textiles). fingers crossed!
  • Be able to visit my sister when she moves to Spain for a year, super excited and looking forward to it all working out for he.
  • attend some festivals. Parklife seeming possible, the tickets already bought. Leeds maybe a possibility, not sure what else yet.
  • perhaps get a job for Summer and earn myself some money instead of scavenging of parents.
  • Do more art, read more and learn the guitar :)

so far Wonderwall is the extent of my guitar playing. any tips? help?
Overall I hope 2014 treats me well and all of you too.

Eaten a tonne of chocolate and made a delicious humus sandwich (how very Chorlton)
Tried to make myself look beautifully sunkissed yet turned out more umpa-lumpa..
